Gah. Did it, got my best starred guy into the second position and raking it in. A Blimp gave me a x2 to my earnings for an entire day as well. Next challenge for Diamonds just popped up, “Sell Out”!
General rule of thumb in idle games is you want to double or triple your multiplier before resetting, for the early- to mid-game at least. So if you are at 6x, wait until you can get 12x - 18x before you Sell Out again. But i’m sure someone on Reddit is running the math to determine the optimal min-max play. (They’re good for setting a general strategy, but I don’t know how much fun it is to just follow a checklist.)
One thing I have noticed that separates this from other clickers is how fast the multiplier goes up. In some, like Clicker Heroes, it’s additive. Here, it’s multiplicative. There are 4 sources of multipliers - you can see them by expanding the gas gauge. So if you have 10x, 4x, 3x & 2x, in some games your total would be 10+4+3+2=19x. Here it’s 10×4×3×2=240x.
One thing I just noticed last night is not only can you watch an ad to cut the time on your scratchers by an hour, if you wait a couple minutes you can do it again. I got an 8 hour scratcher in 2 1/2 hours. Just make sure the ad button isn’t grayed out when you cash in, or you won’t be able to get the bonus prize on the ticket.
Yeah it’s 100% the way forward. I was earning 150m an hour I think before I sold out. Now I am making over 3 Billion an hour. The figures are making my head hurt they are so high.
I got a dude called Jam who starts at $94/per hour. As soon as I start after a sell-out I can pour money into upgrading him and be earning millions per hour in a few seconds. Then with all the gems I’ve picked up over time I can spend some to earn an hour’s income and upgrade him even more. I sold out like ten times yesterday doing this. It’s ridiculous, Jam makes 99% of my total income on his own. I just got him to level 300 and he’s making 20 billion an hour.
Yeah, those 3 star drivers like Jam are almost game breaking. I’ve got 4 drivers I can put in the first area and they’re all making trillions of dollars within minutes. It’s wildly unbalanced but also really fun.
Here’s something weird I noticed: every time you close the game, next time you load it up you can double everything you earned while it was closed. So unless you need to actively click to complete a contract, it seems better to not be playing.
Kind of feels like this whole game is also a commentary on clickers but I can’t stop getting the numbers to get bigger to think about it long enough
Ok, I just had something happen that shows how fun-broken (froken?) the game is and why it’s better to have it open. It’s like the opposite of Austin’s “good suck”
I Sold Out about an hour ago (I am at 225x). The current contract is to complete trips, so I have it open.
I had 2 blimps back-to-back that got me an 8 Hours of Cash ticket and a 1 Hour of Cash ticket.
I cashed in the 8 hour ticket, spent it on upgrades, then cashed in the 1 Hour ticket. I got almost twice as much money from the 1 Hour ticket as the 8 Hour one.
Just after posting this I got a second 3 star driver for the first area, so now I’m making double what I was before!
I’ve also noticed that if you don’t have a good enough internet connection, it won’t load the advert it plays when you double your money. It’s literally free (fake) money!
I really appreciate how there are no penalties to not playing, other things of this nature are really stressful when all you want to do is kill a few minutes on the train. Fallout Shelter was too high stakes, this is more my speed.
Also, I’m still hollering about this line:

God damn you for bringing this to my attention, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about for the past 5 hours. This is so much better than Adventure Capitalist.
So I just had the no-loading video thing happen while doing a scratcher, so I figured I’d try again… and again… and again… and again. I probably scratched off 10 tickets in 5 minutes without spending any diamonds. Normally, if I was having this much fun with a free-to-play game I would toss them 5 or 10 dollars, but even before this glitch I don’t really feel like I need to. (Probably will at some point, anyway. They earned it.)
I just unlocked Gretchen, and I think she’s my fave so far.
Currently very much feeling whatever Keytar Bear is putting out.
This really is good fun. I will throw a bit of money their way when I get paid, they deserve it.
Alright, I’ve gotten this shit down to a science. If you’re on an iOS device and have access to a mac, you can download Xcode. If you connect your device to a mac running Xcode, it enables the developer tools in the Settings app. In the developer tools you can use the Network Link Conditioner to simulate a bad connection. Launch the app while simulating a 100% lossy network and you’ll be able to skip the ad while getting the cash. You can do the same with the scratch cards. Sometimes the app won’t let you choose the ad option if it knows the connection is bad, so you can just back out of the prompt, turn off the Network Link Conditioner, go back to that prompt, then re-enable the Network Link Conditioner and you can hit the button. This probably works on Android too if you can get an equivalent tool.
My last day at work is Friday, can you tell I’m already checked out?
I’m up to 100x sellout multiplier, so at this point i’m just making the letter at the end of the numbers change, but I still can’t stop?
Only at 48, sell out each time it goes up by 15-20 so think I have done that three times now. Don’t seem to be racing through like others though, have three two star characters and put them in the cheapest slot and that is getting me about £400m an hour.
Unlocked 45 drivers I think, so will carry on until I get the lot.
Another tip is to upgrade your drivers in 100x. They get a 5x bonus every time they hit a hundred level which sends their earnings up a lot
Ok I will look into that. I have been focusing on the three star characters (typo above, I have 3 x 3 stars) and the third one takes quite a bit of cash to level up.
Do you max those guys, or get them to say 300 and then level someone else?
I try and get my breadwinners up to 300 and then normally am making enough to top the other guys up too. Also look out for drivers with the “loud” perk as that’s a multiplier for your entire earnings!
During the intro bit when you move onto the second area, the first person you hire there says something and the confirmation prompt was “Right?”. That’s the precise moment this game got me.
Anyone still playing? I have got to 53 drivers I think, but have hit a bit of a wall as to get the next upgrades all the guys need S, and I am just earning s level dollars. At about x700 multiplier so guess i just wait a while for the next sell out to be much bigger and hopefully that will be the boost I need.
