MFW I keep finding easter eggs in my trees

Okay I think I have beaten the game because I have definitely met the coolest villager possible in Eugene:

Also, not sure how I feel about the new horror event…

Finally, here is a photo of me with the sweetest boy.

If a player isn’t the resident representative, can they give presents to villagers/get emotes from villagers? My partner has been playing for a week and the option hasn’t appeared for her.

I have seen Tarantula Island with my own two eyes.

I have a gift for you all, you can make posters with this and then grab the QR code.

I’m player two on my island and I have gifted many presents to villages and received a bunch of emotes. I’m about a week and a half into the game. I send them letters/presents via post as well ask talking to them every day, I’m not sure if that has something to do with it as well. I have also been able to complete requests for villagers as player two.
Hope that helps

That’s good to hear! We were worried she might need her own switch to have the same experience.

it’s day one of Everything Is Eggs, i was at work most of the day, but boy howdy all my AC playing friends sure are tired of these eggs

i get the idea, right, to avoid having the holiday being only ONE DAY because then people might feel stressed about missing it. but making it like two weeks? is such an overcorrection. make it a three day thing, jfc.

I’m in the ā€˜the eggs are good, zipper is great’ camp, but it does sure feel like I’m in the minority

I love videogame easter!

Is anyone getting any spring-cherry blossom petals themed diy recepies, yet? I keep getting bunch of egg recepies and then some normal gifts from the regular balloons. I’d really love to have the petals recepies instead the egg ones :joy:

Same here. Don’t think I have a petal related recipe yet.

Any criticisms I may have implied yesterday toward Zipper and their acts of vandalism are nullified due to the fact that a random balloon drop now lets me dress up as a witch. This game is still good.

I currently have a recipe for a (very pretty) cherry blossom bonsai tree, and an outdoor picnic set that, somehow, I can construct entirely out of fallen leaves. I think the picnic set came from just talking to Tom Nook or Zipper? The bonsai tree might have been from a balloon drop.

I did get the picnic set from a baloon today at last!

Luckily, I only had to catch April’s new fish and none of them were the same shadow size as the eggs, so they haven’t really gotten in my way while fishing.

But I am definitely not paying as much attention to balloons as I should be. And I have no earth eggs! I feel like they made it too easy to get some eggs while others are super limited. (And I blew through my Nook Miles getting new paths, so I can’t go get more that way.)

I am still pretty early on and have got no slingshot yet… I’ve tried to use my trusty vaulting pole to get those wrapped flying eggs but no luck so far. Feeling extremely relative deprived.

Anyhow… I got a question… I noticed that while wondering about, sometimes there is a spot where crickets are having a concert… can you catch them? Do I need some special diy cricket magnet?

I’m liking eggs but I also tend to play this game in bursts so I don’t get tired. I wish the event was a flat week for the sake of other ppl mostly, but I’m not understanding the vitriol toward eggs vs. petals, since petal stuff might be around for the whole month of April, I think? I could be wrong tho. I still don’t understand the changing of seasons.
