Context full screenshots again, and I’m not sorry.
So previously when I returned to NMS the new generation stuff changed one of my planets from a beautiful autumnal place to a gross green planet. You can see that in my previous post, which this is a response.
Anyways, after that debacle I started a new game and eventually found another autumnal planet, it was gorgeous, but importantly, I met some new friends
Meet the Bigefriendius. Native to the planet Bigfriendius Alpha.
So I launched the new patch today, and was immediately struck with bad news:
My Big Friends are now hibernating, to be seen no more.
Bigfriendius Alpha has become Bugfriendius Alpha.
But at least the planet now has pink grass and is bio-luminescent

I don’t even like racing games, but that one just looks so pretty I feel like I need to play it.

The game can be quite difficult and detailed with the assists turned off (its one of the only games I can think of where applying the clutch is required while using manual transmission on a gamepad. usually games just handle that for you) but it encourages playing how you feel comfortable playing without being condescending about it and really emphasizes having a chill, good time above it’s more sim-like elements, so I think it would be good for someone who isn’t super familiar with driving games.
