Follow up to the Cybertruck thread: good chance it won’t be legal in Europe as a production vehicle. It wouldn’t meet safety requirements, especially for pedestrian safety. Stainless steel is also not know for its ability to deform.

Also, just learned the terrifying fact that in the US pickup trucks are exempt from pedestrian safety regs since they are considered “light-duty” vehicles

Called it, even down to the exemption for how it would be road legal in states. This will in no doubt be fatal to an pedestrian unless they’re extremely lucky.
