Yesterday, Bungie announced that starting next season, players in Destiny 2 will be able to change the appearance of their armor, something that you would expect every Destiny player would welcome. The implementation of this feature leaves a lot to be desired.

This is absolutely baffling. I already fall in and out of Destiny because it’s so convoluted and hard to parse out what, exactly, I should be doing and how basic systems work; now I need to find another 45 minute explainer video on YouTube to make that cool cape have useable stats? I really like the game, but it feels like it doesn’t want me to play it sometimes.
