Hm. The way the rules are set up, Universe 7 doesn’t have to defeat Jiren to win. As long as they have the most survivors at the end of the time limit they take the W. Unsatisfactory victory though that may be, I’d respect the strategy since Jiren’s too powerful to go toe-to-toe with unless all the universes join forces. Even then it’d be pretty iffy.
I suspect that’s why he’s meditating. He knows there’s a good chance that he’s gonna have to take a lot of people out in a very short space of time near the end of the royale.
You guys think Vegeta isn’t gonna get jobbed in this? I have a bad feeling that he is being set up to fail.
I feel like that is very frequently the case for Vegeta. I would like to see him have some kind of good fight in the tournament though.
Well last week teased a one v One with Toppo. But it just feels like he is getting the fight Goku didn’t get 
I hope Vegeta beats Toppo and manages to take a swing at Jiren, even if it gets him knocked out.
More likely though this is going to be like Ribrianne again and we’ll just get the same 2 second loop of animation for like 3 episodes as Vegeta fights him in the background.
I hope not. I’m gonna be honest I don’t like Ribrianne. I found the first joke about transformation scenes kinda funny but now she just kinda annoys me when she is on screen. Wish Kale and Clauflia got more love.
I still have a feeling the Grand Priest will interfere in some way. That guy’s bad news.

For some reason I could see Vegeta and Toppo fighting for an episode but neither getting disqualified just yet.
I’m real bummed that Cabba got knocked out when he did. Part of me really loves how much the dynamic of Vegeta/Cabba and part of me is really enjoying Frieza.
If anything else, Frieza will be showing his truest colors here. It will either be redemption for him, or the absolute end. If he should make it out of this, having him part of the main cast going forward will be strange and would probably change the dynamic of Earth’s Z-Fighters.
I feel like this is what the writers have him do a lot so it wouldn’t surprise me if it happens again.
That chart is crazy, I kinda want to see some eliminations from people who aren’t from U’s 6,7, and 11.
As my favorite character I fear Vegeta getting stomped, but have come to terms with it being likely. Though at the very least we should get an excuse for it other than “Yeah, Vegeta sucks, lol.” Like, when he lost to Hit he didn’t have his full strength even though he could tap into Blue (I think the manga mentioned him only having 1/10th of his power during that fight). And unfortunately for Vegeta, he’s just a brute battle-wise. He has no versatility in his attacks unlike Goku who can gain strength from Kaioken, or attack above his weight class with Genki Dama, or blind people with Taioken (why has no one blinded Jiren yet!?).
I think we’ll get something like “Vegeta tanks a blow that would’ve removed Goku from the tournament and thus is ejected or is injured enough to where he can’t defend against being ejected.” Or “Vegeta is now exhausted because he has eliminated the most opponents and thus has expended more energy than anyone else.”
Hm. Come to think of it the fact that he’s the MVP could be reason enough to go ahead and let him get fodderized. Since it won’t piss off the fans too much because they can always say “Well, he was the MVP of the tournament, who cares if he couldn’t stand up to Jiren!”
That would kind of match up to how they’ve treated Vegeta so far.
In the Frieza movie/arc he beat Frieza, Goku only got the kill because time travel nonsense and Frieza now being able to blow up planets faster.
In the Black arc, he completely dominated Black in a way Goku never managed until Black’s power up.

Yeah. I feel like they can let Vegeta be second fiddle forever and still keep fans happy if they’d just let us see him do something that’s completely his and no one else’s. Give him a special move OTHER than just a different colored beam, like a Kaioken style power-up or a status effect style attack like Roshi’s taser beam thing. Heck, give him back his tail, I’d be fine with an Oozaru Vegeta lol.
We have so many opportunities to tap into the lore of the saiyan race by giving Vegeta access to techniques that only he’d know about due to being the last saiyan. Such a waste.
I’m sitting over here waiting for him to use that move he said that was “just like the kaioken” from the Saiyan Saga. I know the feeling bro. Vegeta probably has the best moments in the series and he is still second banana to Goku. Hell all my favorite parts of Super involve him. Wooping Goku Black’s ass, Teaching Cabba Super Saiyan, “My Bulma”. I wish he didn’t get scrubbed by Goku so much. He has a great character.

Here to say Kefla is the best and i could watch her beat up Goku for 100 episodes
I already sold off my copy of Dragonball Fusions a long time ago, but if there was Kefla DLC I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
I was super bummed out with the last batch of episodes. They spent an entire month on Goku vs Caulifa/Kale. If you count episode 100 as well, then literally 25% of the tournament so far has been dedicated to those three fighting. It brought the pace to a screeching halt which was a huge bummer.
One of my favorite things about this arc had been if you didn’t like a particular episode or set of fighters then you knew that next week would bring an entirely new battle. It was a fantastic pace and a great way to handle this many episodes. Then they pull this crap with Caulifa/Kale and Goku and it ends up becoming a real sore spot in an otherwise fantastic season.
Anyway, I am really looking forward to the show moving on for those three tonight. Hopefully this is the last we see of Goku until he fights Jiren again.
