Erangels and Demons Finale: Built It. Beautiful

I hope everyone thinks about this experience when they do jury-duty.

True story: I didn’t get selected for a jury because during voir dire I insisted that I could not reliably tell if a person on the stand is lying or telling the truth. The defense attorney seemed desperate to get me on the jury, because I think he thought I would not convict if a cop’s word were the only evidence (and he was likely correct) so he tried to get me to walk that back. But I insisted that I couldn’t do that, and no one else in the room really could either.

This stands in stark contrast to my behavior in this game when I projected the most confidence given incredibly little evidence. But I behave a little differently when an actual person could go to prison.

The only thing that worries me about this is that someone who felt that they could tell whether or not someone on the stand is lying or telling the truth may have replaced you.

That was literally everyone else in the jury pool. Weep for humanity.

Damn it! I just thought of a really clever move that someone could make here but I can’t discuss it because it is night time. :zipper_mouth_face:

We’re speedrunning a Mafia game.

Knights can’t get kills if we kill all the innocent people.

Glorgu sequence break is op.

It’d be a little faster if you don’t get the respawn glitch, but, it doesn’t always cost time.

Alright friends, I’m going to bed as even ghosts/zombies (idk what I’d qualify as) need sleep. See you in the morning

I won’t be around for the dawn of the third day, keep it warm for me.

CGR the Loquacious Gardener is now @CGR the Revenant Horticulturist

Day 1: The Clyde Incident
Day 2: The Glorgu Gambit

I missed so much holy shit you guys this thread is such an emotional roller coaster. I have some vague thoughts and suspicions I will share when the cycle starts up again in a while.

For now, what music have you guys been listening to? Any good books or movies lately? :3c

Sorry that I’ve been relatively inactive, y’all. My migraine has gone for the most part but I can feel it lurking in my brain, which has kept me mostly lurking in the thread except where necessary because I’m trying to limit my screentime (and just keeping up is a job unto itself).

I can’t say that I honestly followed the case for CGR 1.0 (although I did debate switching my vote just to ensure we got something done yesterday) entirely, so I’m glad to have her back (although she may have been resurrected only because she logged into her account on another, competing, battle royale game…).

It’s clear. The only way we can become as knights is by all dying as battlers.

I think we’ve all had a good opportunity to get some observations, so I think it might be good for Day 3 to start with us setting up the stalls of our thoughts/suspicions? Day 2 was pretty driven by Glorgu-Flavin-erica-CGR-1.0, so I’m definitely planning to at least get my thoughts out there.

Before the results come in, I have a (possible, probable) last word.

Ignore my manifesto from yesterday. Past me thought CGR was a Knight and he would be killed as a hero. Past me is and was an idiot. Feel free to ignore his methods.

My own possible final words:

Y’all, I fucked up.
