I mean, with as knowledgeable as he was, he was a threat to the Knights in general I’d say
Just a request for the souls of the departed to refrain from posting in the thread until the game concludes, at least during the day.
Spooky ghost nights confirmed.
i think our best bet, barring some other sort of convincing argument, is hoping that cody had some information and voting for serbroseph. cody didn’t seem like the type to just point fingers for no reason
I think I’m with erica on this one
…they said, in an ominous tone
I think the thing I’m worried about is that we don’t know what Cody did. For all we know he could have checked on Beard_Check and the info remained useless the entire time, or like almost anyone else.
I’m still thinking on muffinsyay and vivimd for what it’s worth.
Erica and just_benj still have not addressed any of the allegations towards them before throwing their votes onto me. With the reasoning of a hunch and a metagame “well he wouldn’t say anything unless it meant something” reasoning. Their allegiance here still keeps me pretty suspect that the two have been and are continuing to work together .
And also consider that I went relatively under the radar yesterday even after the two call-outs from Cody. A knight could have easily picked up on those call-outs, purposely not said anything further and thus making Cody the prime kill target knowing it cast suspicion onto me the next day.
I do agree I’d like to hear more from @erica and @Just_benj in regards of defense, but only because having killed three battlers yesterday, we need to be wary of not addressing questions and making sure that we investigate folks.
That being said, this is a giant thread now, I don’t remember if you tagged them or not, but I’m going to be a bit more aware of making sure I tag people.
Your last point is a bit questionable to me though. If you are not a Knight, picking up on the call outs and making a strategy around it seems a tad unlikely, especially since they had no idea Cody was crowbar. Yes, it’s something that could have happened, but if you’re a battler, I find it hard to imagine that was why they killed Cody off. Perhaps the knights are having the luckiest game ever though.
i’m sorry, what specifically would y’all like me to address?
I’m voting for serbroseph
I doubt I’ll be checking back in before night.
i was vocal about flavin, no question about that. i also pointed a finger at CGR. i was super wrong. but i have yet to contribute to a vote that resulted in a battler’s death, and i also came out against the switch to voting for CGR twice beforehand because i thought it looked suspicious, especially once glorgu tipped his hand and said he’d be killing flavin no matter what. basically, it comes down to whether you believe i’m the biggest risk-taking knight on earth, one who would gamble her own life in a bet she would know she’d lose, one who has flip-flopped many times with new information, and one who would risk not applying her own knight vote, fully 1/4th of the knight votes, to either of the two battlers voted out so far…OR you can believe that i’m an impulsive goofball battler with an attention deficit playing my first-ever game of mafia~
edit: perhaps what vindicates me the most is that i explicitly stated that i would not swap my vote from flavin to CGR when the numbers were still up in the air. if i was a knight, why would i say that? why would i risk neither one of them getting voted out when we were so close to pulling off such a devastating play?
Hey robowitch I think these are fair concerns and I’m glad you brought them up.
I’m quiet in the thread because I do not know to read the information we’ve gathered so far and don’t want to decrease the signal to noise ratio. I followed CodyDaviesTV and your lead on voting for Vivimid on day one because you both seem to have a stronger understanding of the meta than me.
I did not ask Sister Gun to identify themselves in the thread, I asked them to kill. To take a shot at Erica, Flavin or I. It was an aggro play that backfired.
Beyond offering myself as a target (which I did) what other ways could I have reinserted myself into the gambit and proved my innocence?
Let me know if you have any other questions I’ll be happy to answer them.
If there’s anything I can clarify for you, let me know. It’ll have to wait until after I’m done with work, but yeah.
I would like to know why you requested Auntie Knuckles to not remove me from the evening phase?
EDIT: I have seen your previous post and realized you answered that, my bad.
I don’t think my initial vote on CGR was that suspicious. I mentioned earlier that the reason I didn’t vote for flavin was because I was pretty sure he’d die either way (by vote or by Sister Gun). I didn’t vote erica because she put her life on the line with her vote of flavin. erica in my opinion wouldn’t have a “strong defense the remainder of the game” or rather, if she did, “the remainder of the game” wouldn’t be that long for her (one more day to be exact). So I put my vote on a third person we hadn’t heard much from at the time–CGR.
As far as Clyde lining up their votes with mine, they could just be trying to strike coalition like they said previously and trying to earn my trust. Or they could be a knight and trying to draw suspicion to me, which unfortunately doesn’t look good for me. Or it could just be Clyde being Clyde. (Though I’m curious, @Clyde, what makes you so sure I’m a battler?)
My fellow battlers, anything else I can answer for you?
Wasn’t one of the day one arguments to pick out people who had changed their vote? Wouldn’t it track then that a knight aware of this wouldn’t do this the second day?
thanks for the update Glorgu!
