I like the idea of letting dead players like posts assuming they still don’t know the roles of players.
There’s no way…
Ok, so… Hey, are we gunna at any point talk about how knights have had a 100% hit rate on, in order of who they’d want out first, every ability-wielding townsperson?
(Preferably that conversation can ignore the fact that we’ve voted every day for one of ourselves.)
I’m starting today early. Having nothing change since yesterday.
I’m casting my vote for Erica.
I’ll be continuing establishing an alliance with just_benj. I’d like to invite others into our new, yet promising coalition to take on these dire circumstances where relying on chaos and gossip will only lead to more innocent deaths.
A vote with just_benj and I is a vote for structure.
Clyde for president 2020
Biggest mistake we’ve been making has to be going for easy votes. Every “easy majority” was easy because all the knights are cool with voting for those people.
“Well, dang, I guess I’ll swap to CGR, because otherwise we don’t vote for anybody…” womp womp. Nope.
I… have no comment on the Clyde/Just_benj alliance at this time.
Structure… we can believe in.
Agreed. I don’t necessarily want to cast a vote right now but at this point I could get behind an erica vote.
Fuck it, I vote erica.
Fair enough.
My case for Erica remains:
- Seemed to be at odds with I think the first… 4-5 townies who died.
- Willing to swap votes to get kills last minute *except Serbroseph, who I also suspect?
- I have not been drinking the “nobody hate Erica juice” she’s been demanding we all drink.
One thing I’m curious about is the knights’ actions last night. Why go for Revenge of CGR (R.I.P.) when so many of us have been a lot more vocal with our theories/suspicions? I know it’s a good way to avoid drawing suspicion to any one person, but do they just also not feel threatened by us at all?
I mean, the short answer is - that was a special character, so… Of course they did.
Hackers have been a real problem in PUBG.
But they’d have no way of knowing that would they?
Oh…hackers. I guess we’re just screwed then lol.
Still at work, so it’ll be awhile before I can share my expanded thoughts. But, damnit, I thought I had @erica cleared. At this point she’s back on my radar, unlesssss @Anime is a Knight and trying to manipulate all of us.
I’d love to stand by my record, but I think I’ve voted for every battler we’ve killed so far.
I’m more than happy to explain any reasoning for votes/changes/decisions, accusations, etc. if you’ve got any specific questions though.
That’s kind of what has me thinking about why I’m still alive? There’s very little reason for me to be alive right now in theory. I am basically confirmed to be a battler. A relatively easy kill that does not reveal much information. Of course they could just be trying to chance at killing a special character, given their record I wouldn’t blame them. Yesterday I was thinking it could be because they thought Cody was onto something and figured it would be more important to target him than it would be me.
But CGR didn’t really do much to stir the pot yesterday, she voted for muffinsyay, but as we figured out that didn’t really mean anything. Actually, that’s probably why they killed her.
I don’t know, I’m confused by the strategy, but also this is my first game of Mafia and I am clearly missing some glaring strategies.
At work, will check in and make bad decisions later!
anime, you’ve been right alongside me almost the entire time. you trumpeted flavin/CGR/glorgu being knights harder than anybody directly after i started to suspect them, and then the moment two were killed out and one was more-or-less neutralized, you switch to targeting me? and between the two of us, you’ve voted out every battler so far while i’ve only voted for 1 out of the 3? seems like maybe you’ve been using me as a shield, huh?
Not by intention, but perhaps.
The difference in my mind is - I know I’m not, which is meaningless to everyone who isn’t me, and the Serbroseph thing. Also, your votes for ‘not the battler we killed’ of the day were later in the day, to people who had no chance of suddenly winning a vote, and tended to be to other people I’ve been suspecting were knights. The only reason I could think of for that being to give yourself safe distance/deniability of working with them.
Which I may be wrong about. Just a feeling, which I should probably double-check in the timelines to be more sure.
