Hello all, recently BBC Radio 4 released a drama about the Indie game scene! It’s about a female developer, having recently become the surprise winner of a prestigious Indie Game award. She gets the funding for a new game from a vastly more successful Indie game developer and she struggles to keep the vision for her game the same.
I’ve been listening it today and it’s really interesting, exploring the clash between vision and success, as well as cultural appropriation and how easy it is to fall for “easy” pitfalls I’m development. It’s worth a listen.
I believe everyone should be able to access the BBC radio iPlayer, but I’m not sure. Let me know if you listen to it,
some things I’d like to explore!
