Games that you want to see Remade/Remastered!

Legend of Mana is… not very highly regarded, I think. There are a few like me, the real fans, the true people for the people, who champion Legend of Mana, aka Seiken Densetsu 4, as the final form of the series. This is Frieza in his golden form. Pure ecstasy. Bring it on, Square-Enix. Let me bathe in its glow once again.

This one is a crazy obscure dos adventure game, but I want someone to remake Eternam, so I can finally get past the french revolution part and get on the moon. I was too young to figure it out when we first got it. When I remembered about years later it was too old to run on windows 2000.

A re-imagining or a reboot of the first Deus Ex.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution doesn’t count (even though I liked it a lot!)
Deus Ex Revision doesn’t count.

I’m thinking more in the lines of what DOOM (2016) was. And System Shock is another one currently getting that treatment, plus an entirely new third System Shock from another studio. So, ma-… Yeah, no. Squeenix apparently put Deus Ex on ice in favor of that Avengers project. Bummer.

Yeah, it seems to be the “Mana fan’s Mana” game. It is wild and strange and very SaGa-like in how experimental it gets with the Action-JRPG template, but still retains the spirit of Mana way better than the SD1 remake or the 3D PS2 game did.

I love the playful and melancholy vibe so much, and they nail a very specific depth of customization and progression that makes it feel so much more open than JRPGs usually are.

Speaking of SaGa, I would LOVE to see a better-balanced and explained version of The Last Remnant. The people who evangelized the PC version of that game made it sound like something truly special.

I came in here to say God Hand but people covered that, but that game was amazing to play and I want it remastered.

Also someone please, please spend the 1 billion dollars it would take to remaster and re-release Def Jam Vendetta: Fight for NY and give it directly to me.

I adore how fun and unique so many of the stories are, and how so many of them meet up and split apart, depending on certain characters, and how even the ones that aren’t important still feel worthwhile. I love the art, I LOVE the music, I love the gameplay, I love building the world, though admit the biggest hurdle is knowing how to build the world such that all quests are available - I’ve never… played that game without a worldbuilding guide… If they just added more in-game direction, even if it’s for multiple playthroughs, I think that’d be perfect.

I want silent hill 2 to get a proper remaster. And Silent Hill 3 also.

But more than that I want Konami to release the IP to me personally so I can make weird text adventures about a haunted resort town literally called silent hill, instead of a silent hill analogue.
