Games, the industry and workplace


I think a thread about the game development industry and what it’s like to work in games could be valuable.

I’m looking to include a broad category of workers in games: dev roles, dev company staff who aren’t in direct dev roles (me!), staff of publishers and media outlets, people aspiring to any of the above, probably some I’ve missed.

Hopefully this could be a nice place to talk, maybe commiserate about what isn’t great, maybe celebrate what is great, maybe offer advice if it’s asked for.
