I’m not a huge strategy game person, but I can definitely sense the sentiment this article’s thesis and headline point to. A game’s map design is hugely important for giving it its feel, whether in the broad scope of a Europa Universalis IV or the tighter (or should I say, tider?) focus of this game. While this game’s mechanics sound like they’d frustrate a strategy neophyte like me, it certainly looks impressive.
