This is probably a long shot but I was just reminded of this movie and I know it’s gonna just stick in my head if I can’t find it. I saw the end of it on TV once, and so I don’t have a lot to go on, but I think it was about a summer camp and/or boyscout troop, and it ended with a group of kids fighting off some kind of cops or other authority figures with bow and arrows and improvised weapons and traps and such? It would’ve been made between about 1995 and 2005 (that’s not a definite window, but it can’t have been much later than '05 based on how old I was when I saw it). Anyone think they might know what movie it was?
What genre? Comedy? Horror? A mix?
Audience? Teens? Adults?
It doesn’t sound familiar, but I’m trying my best to search through IMDB with plot keywords and release years 1985 - 2006. So far, only Wilderness (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0465670/?ref_=kw_li_tt) came somewhat close.
Found a second gem: Robin of Locksley (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117495/?ref_=kw_li_tt)
It’s got kids (and in the trailer they’re shown with bow and arrow), it’s got authority figures and it fits the release year.
The first movie that came to mind was Ernest Goes to Camp. It has kids making a lot of weird devices to fight off a mining company. It was made in '87 but was on TV a lot in the late 90s/early 00s.
It’s a cheap, goofy movie for kids, if that’s what you were looking for.
It was definitely not horror, I remember it being fairly light hearted, no violence more than PG-13. Also it was definitely a modern setting if that helps at all
That actually seems like it might be it? I’ll probably watch through it to see if I can tell for sure
