Here Comes A New Year!

Thanks! I’m left-handed and it was years of work to get to the point where I could create something legible :joy:

Happy New year everyone.

The first news story I read this year was Kim Jong-Un bragging about having a nuclear button installed at his desk and honestly it’s comforting to know that he can bring about this hell dimension’s end if he desires it.

My goal this year is pretty much just to get into a college that I love and start my (suddenly and vaguely) adult life out right
More unrealistically, I’d love to get a boyfriend and make a game and get straight As, and lose like 40 lbs, but I’d be happy with just the first one honestly.

Is that the 1990 NES Crystalis? Man, I haven’t thought about that game since the GBC version came out. Such a good/weird game. Also some fairly overt nods/ripoffs from Nausicaa in there too.

That’s the one! It turned up on several top RPG lists, so I thought I’d give it a go. I’ve not played much of it, but from what I have played I wonder why it’s not more popular.

I’m going on either 17 or 27 year old memories here (insert deep breathing and minor existential crisis) but there are parts of that game that become very frustrating. I remember the swamp area being a huge pain to navigate, and one or two dungeons being annoying. Mostly I just think it was one of those hidden gems, very good at what it did but not distinct enough at the time to break through.

Noted. I better get my graph paper out just in case. (I like to do things the old-fashioned way) :joy:
