I didn’t figure out I had depression until my junior year of college, and a year and a half after graduating I’m still living at home with my parents. I now take anti-depressants and go to talk therapy, both of which are expensive but helpful resources for me. I find that when I have work or other commitments I function much better, but I haven’t yet solved the problem of working and then not having energy to do any fun things.
