Can anyone recommend some good criticism on Mecha/Mechs/Large Robots? I love Mecha Anime, I love Battletech, I love anything that involves people getting into vaguely people shaped machines and then doing stuff with them. I’m one of those people who’s anime movie shelf is Evangelion and Gundam.
I’m looking for books, essays, blog posts, or pretty much any other critical media that deals with the mecha genre. Recently as I’ve tried to reflect on why I love this genre and why I am so thrilled by it and I would love to consult the work and thoughts of some other folks who might be able to help me shed insight on this.
