METRO - Cyberpunk 2077 will have more Inclusive Character Options

Polygon dropped an article that sure will get THE GAMERS up and angry.

I gotta say though, having GIGANTIC MARKETING of Rockstar Energy’s Cyberpunk collab drape over the top of the article sure isn’t doing it any favors.

Gettin’ a real Gamespot Kane & Lynch advertising vibe from this, lol

That’s a banger of an article though. I didn’t realize that they were marketing so hard to the Musk fanbase but good golly that explains everything, doesn’t it?

I swear, if the Cybertruck is in the game I’m going to scream.

I wish Watch Dogs: Legion had taken a swing at Musk like they did at Martin Shkreli in Watch Dogs 2. Although the games industry does seem like the kind of place where you will find Musk’s fans.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is the best swing at Musk you’re gonna get, and that’s barely a swing at all.

And also a bad game.

Man, it’d be really funny if this game comes out and the campaign is, like, Red Dead 2 levels of sappy

It isn’t that bad since they added the immersion stuff. I’ve played it more than both Valhalla and Legion this winter.

Also, their Musk surrogate eventually teams up with you. The game is more critical of the people resisting the Wolves and PMC than dollar store Musk. -_-

At least it isn’t pissing off the entire nation of Bolivia.

It never made sense to me, especially when the game is filled with cool and distinctive characters they could have put on the cover.

I also think game covers need to stop focusing on protagonists on the cover. Show us cool landscapes, symbolic images, whatever, I just don’t need to see another dude, chin-down-eyes-up, with a sword and/or gun.

Yeah it treats him like a naive rich idiot with big ideas who gets taken advantage of and you have to help bail out. He’s pathetic in the game, so it’s a swing but barely one since it’s only at his ego.

He’d have to be actually malicious for it to be an accurate critique.

Now I’m reminded that the CEO in Breakpoint is voiced by Rodney Mullen.

Yes, that Rodney Mullen.

…freestyle is directly responsible for street skating. Rodney Mullen figured out how to ollie on the flat ground, and street skating wouldn’t exist without the ollie. Every time you ollie, you should get on your knees and thank Rodney or take him out to eat if you see him skating around Los Angeles. The vert tricks done now, like a heelflip frontside Cab, wouldn’t be possible without the heelflip, which thanks to Rodney comes from freestyle. The kickflip Indy? Rodney invented the kickflip. Ollie Impossible? Rodney. Rodney, Rodney, Rodney.

Tony Hawk, Hawk – Occupation: Skateboarder

Musk doesn’t deserve to be critiqued with the performance of such a man.

I was going to say that having Geralt on the cover for The Witcher 3 worked cause he looks p. distinctive but then jus started daydreaming about an alternate universe where they had the PC Gamer Geralt in the bath image as The Witcher 3’s cover art.

God bless PC Gamer solely for putting that nonsense into the world and for absolutely nothing else.

Also, happy anniversary.

Excuse me everyone, but I am LOSING IT with laughter at this promotional image of a poster you can buy in the CDPR store:

You can’t fool me, you photoshopped this. There is no way they have a picture of some guy standing in a white void as an example of how to look at a poster.

As they say… ON GOD.

What an image! Why is the poster below eye level?? Why does it look like that guy has never stood before??? What’s up with the shiny pleather boots???

It’s disturbing
