It’s true. Another silver lining was that the NDP did see a surge in support. They’ve positioned themselves as a viable alternative to the Liberals. I know my dad in the 905 couldn’t see the NDP outdoing the Liberals so he voted Liberal as his strategic pick, but in his riding the NDP came in second to the PCs. I feel less people are going to be voting Liberals instead of NDP strategically.

This term will make things worse but at least this time the PC guy is visibly incompetent.

I mean I get what you’re saying but four years of a platformless shithead in Queen’s Park is going to be extremely damaging. He and his party can and will get things done that will take years to reverse.

Mike Harris isn’t so easily forgotten. I don’t want to encourage any kind of thinking that Fords incompetince will be his longterm downfall and therefore we have some levity. He’ll take a whole helluva lot with him when it happens.
