Any way to remove required answers? I don’t feel like I should be voting in categories where I haven’t seen even one of the films.

8:02: The montage of people who passed this year is always quite sad, but every time I remember Godfrey Gao is gone I am immediately in tears. Rutger Hauer, too… rough year.
I bought Parasite on a whim because I saw it at the Target checkout and it seems like I’m going to have to sit down and watch that bad boy sooner rather than later, huh?

It sucks that The Irishman didn’t win anything, and I fucking hate that 1917 won best cinematography over The Lighthouse…

I like all actor/actresses nominees of the Oscar this year. 
All of them deserve to have the statuette of the best.

Really!!! I missed this!!!
I was watching last night with some very conservative family members who were talking all night about how they love to see all the dresses and learn about new movies, but they hate how political the awards shows have become. I was excited to see them get mad, but for the entire time we watched nothing came up that upset them. We went home before the actor categories, but I would have LOVED to see their reaction to that!!

I had a dream last night that The Academy was afraid Bong Joon Ho wouldn’t be able to speak English well enough to give his speeches, so Tom Hanks accepted all of his awards on his behalf. Not sure exactly what this says about my subconscious feelings about the Academy, but it’s nothing good.
I am dying to see how the Joker bros respond to this.
