I never cared for the previous versions of the 3v3 or 1v1 modes, but are much more fun than I thought they would be. It’s pretty much all I’ve been playing lately. As a support main I especially like how it forces me to think about match ups in a different way and coming up with alternative tactics and tricks. Also it seems like by far the quickest way to earn those arcade lootboxes.

I had the vague plan I was going to try and prestige before the event was out but didn’t actually have the time to commit (I’m level 89 rn), but this being double XP for five days (especially when I already planned on using Thurs night and Friday day to shoot a lot of things and avoid the misery of the British election) means I might actually do it!!
I actually plan to be on Thurs and Sun to play, so is good for me. Excited to grind for more dupes :I

I got Lucio’s Wikki Wikki Wild Wild Western Imperialism skin and I’m mad.
I got Beardless Abomination Torb from Uprising too.
I kinda like Lucio’s weird jazzy steampunk skin… I like how it changes the crossfade songs (though all the criticisms of it and the execution of Lucio’s character in general still stand)

I’ve realized my big issue with OW is that I can’t play other games if I’m playing OW. I miss playing and want to start again, but there are just too many damn games out right now.
That being said, I’ve mained D.Va and Tracer pretty much exclusively, delving into Widow and Mercy/Lucio here and there. The double XP event this weekend may bring me back for a spell, though…

Got into my ninth match to rank for comp but people were trolling and also our average level was roughly 200 lower than the opposite team’s…so much fun.
If you were planning on prestiging to get loot boxes faster, I hate to break it to you, but Blizzard got rid of resetting your XP progression when you prestige a long time ago. You’ll still need 22k XP to level up after hitting 100.

I’ve gotten the Tracer and Symm skins this event, and Pharah’s dance, so I’m over the moon. Getting D.va’s skin and Reaper’s dance (and maybe Zarya’s skin) would cap off about everything I want from this event.
I’d be happy to play with other folks! I haven’t been playing competitive for the past 2 seasons, mostly just popping in during events, but… I feel myself pendulum-swinging back towards the game, honestly.
