Hey, I’m PandaBearTellEm. I’m an American living in Russia and a generally frustrated leftist. I picked up Waypoint from FatT a few years ago and while I fell off FatT I have listened to every single ep of waypoint radio since. I was super sad when Austin left but really impressed with how the rest of the squad has gone forward. Love the addition of Ren and the energy she brings. I also really like 3 Moves Ahead and RPS’ podcast.
I like Rob-style games and I would consider myself a hot sauce connoisseur.
What’s good, forum? I’m a middle-aged nerd who has followed FatT and Waypoint for the past five years give or take. I enjoy playing games with well developed worlds, strong characters, and rich mechanics. I also like Destiny. Cheers!
Hel-lo, I’m Sudanna. I’ve followed Waypoint, sometimes more or less, for about as long as it’s been, and many of the associated projects as well. I’ve been interested in and enjoying the recent changes to the site, Austin’s happy departure notwithstanding, and I’m presently anticipating the We Know the Devil/Heaven Will Be Mine piece mentioned in the 101.
I joined my first internet forum(Spiderweb Software) in 2004, when I was ten, and it defined my adolescence and young adulthood in ways that persist to this day. I don’t expect that from today’s internet, but it still might be nice here.

I’ve been playing video games and reading since I was around 4 or 5 years old, getting started playing Myst V with my dad. I’m 43, based in the UK, and like many I’ve seen in this thread started following Waypoint having come over from Giant Bomb. Glad I did as the cast of Waypoint has open my eyes to so much more thats out there.
Gaming wise I enjoy a mix blend of both old and new stuff, although thanks to a nice new PC my wife was able to get me as a gift, thats where most of my time has been spent.
If I’m not discovering more and more stuff via GamePass, building Gunpla or announcing and officiating Roller Derby fills up my spare time (although the pandemic has meant one of these hobbies just isn’t happening much at the mo)
A decade ago I ran a comic/games store for about 6/7 years (many, many fun stories to tell from my time managing that place), and a few years back got to do quite a bit of play testing for the Hellboy board game that Mantic Games put out (alongside other projects by Needy Cats Games) Enjoyed seeing how an idea/design can evolve and change over time via play testing

I’m i PhD student studying storytelling in games. I play (and do research on) Destiny, FFXIV (and I have been around the Grimoire Reasons spin-off discord for a bit), and many other games. Very happy to be here.
