Hello, I’m Enya2 (special low frequency version). Born and raised in the PNW and still here somehow. I mostly have hobbies in reading and weaving but this pod is what got me back into gaming and into the FGC as well.
I’ve been actively listening to the pod for 3 years, and was a long time fan of Austin and Patrick’s journalist careers. With the shuttering of the site (which is literally breaking my heart into pieces, I’m mostly making this post and account so that I can switch into the discord and feel connected to this community in some way past Waypoints impending shut down.

I’ve been reading and listening to waypoint radio since 2017 non stop, the podcast got me through film school and made me think critically when I needed it most - I’m posting now because I would like to enter the discord and maintain a connection with this community that has meant so much to me that I feel like crying today!! @M_o

I know this is a weird time to join, but screw it. Deafhobbit, he/him. My steam account is old enough to vote, and I love Waypoint. I got into it best the start, around when Danielle joined, and it’s been a huge part of my life ever since. I’m also a big fan of Blaseball, Friends at the Table, and books.
I’ll be honest, I probably won’t post here much. My forum days are mostly behind me. I’m joining because I’d like an invite to the Waypoint discord. I hadn’t joined before, because I didn’t think I needed another discord in my life, but I’m hoping the fine folks there will help me fill the importing Waypoint shaped hole in my life.
I just joined the forum because the announcement made me want to join the discord. Would appreciate an invite, when you have the time.
