Hello everyone, I’m also a displaced GAFer Mostly from the RetroGAF/Retro AV club threads. I also go hard on the Game of Thrones threads when in season. I was a member there since 08.
Im kinda of a lost dog looking for a new home. Don’t mind my Avatar… lol Maybe there’s a retro gaming thread here for me settle into? Aurongel here from NeoGAF. I was shocked and disturbed at what happened there and this event has made me deeply reflect on the nature of that forum and how I identify with my media. I’m not sure how much I’ll post here but what I’ve seen so far is extremely promising.

Longtime listener, short-term lurker, first time poster. Been listening to Waypoint Radio for a year and always dug Vice’s content. Also was a member of Gaf for a long time.
As for personal stuff, I was a newspaper reporter for some time and am now enjoying my time with my unwanted and unpaid long-term vacation until I find something new.
So another GAF refugee coming through. Didn’t post much there outside of Vince McMahon GIFs so hopefully I can contribute more here. Already seeing some familiar faces is a nice welcome.
Greetings! Early 40s NeoGAF refugee. I’ve described myself as “that fiercely opinionated and kind-hearted loudmouth from the Overwatch team” and I think it fits. : P I’m checking out WayPoint due to its inclusive ToS and what appears to be zero tolerance for cesspools of hatred like the anti-gay, the alt-reich and gamergaters. I’m a progressive who doesn’t take shit and will always try to speak up in support of the marginalized and oppressed.
Finding this place gives me cautious hope. : )

Upset and frankly fucking disgusted. A lot of us were there for nearly ten years and more, just kind of lost. Love Klepek’s investigative journalism so I’m here looking for a new home.

Hi everyone. A long time lurker of GAF, saddened at the circumstances of the past weekend but thought this would be an opportunity to get involved in a new community. I’m a fan of games (naturally), but also football (the British kind), music and creative writing. Looking forward to all future discussions.
Used to post on GAF a fair bit a few years ago during class, now I mostly just used it as a news aggregator, reacted sometimes and sometimes lurked OT like Yakuza, Persona, NHL and others. Looking forward to meeting new members on here and reconnecting with the good ones that were on there.

I was on GAF for the last 11 years, and I feel a bit lost at the moment. It’s weird when something that was an important part of your life disappears over night. I know gaf had its issues, and it’s share of horrible people, but for every bad person there were 2 genuinely good people.
I frequented the NHL, MLB, gaming and OT forums. I look forward to being part of a new community. Nice to meet you all

Hi! I’m fuzaco, former GAF member, heard a lot of people are coming here, so I thought I’d check the forum out.
Another ex-gaffer of 15 years…sometime poster, regular lurker…I truly hope many of the great communities can be rebuild here. Cheers.
