Hello all. I frequented GAF for the past few years but didn’t post all that much (except for the HZD screenshot thread!). Just feeling kind of lost right now and looking for something to fill the void. This looks like a nice place with cool people.

Another Gaffugee here, I followed the Overwatch and FEHeroes OTs closely and regularly posted. Just want to see where everyone is going and hopefully get an invite to the general GAF discord.
I am jvm from NeoGAF. I am probably most known for my video game industry sales writing, primarily about the UK and U.S. markets. I’ve written for Gamasutra and the now-defunct Next-Gen.biz. My actual career – not in the game industry – does not permit me time to pursue those efforts now.
Previously, I wrote the blog Curmudgeon Gamer from 2004 until after 2010. I also wrote for LinuxGames back in the day, doing the first video card benchmarks with the original binary NVIDIA drivers. They actually sent me cards and drivers pre-release to do that. Fun times.

Another GAF frequent here, frequented SteamGAF mostly. Seems like this is the place where most people are moving over to.

I wanna thank every GAFfugee who kept their GAF Avatar - i’m so bad with usernames, but i instantly recognize some of the faces and many of them immediately evoke positive feelings - as in, “yeah, that’s a person who’s been a respectful and valuable contributor to many thread’s ive been taking part in”. Like, i hope that at least some of y’all would think the same about me.

Hi everyone! Like most people here introducing themselves, I’ve also come from NeoGaf. I officially joined in 2008 but I must’ve lurked for a couple of years before that. I was by no means an active poster but visiting it frequently was part of my daily routine. I’m still a bit stunned with what’s gone on, I never thought NeoGaf would just…end.
I don’t really know what Waypoint is but I read positive comments about the community.
So, here I am. My name is Joe and I’m a 5 year old boy hiding in a 30 year old man’s body, hopelessly trying to hold onto my youth.
