‘Sea of Solitude’ Is a Beautiful but Imperfect Exploration of Loneliness

Beautiful? Yes. Imperfect? Yes. A whole lot? Yes. Worth the $20 if you can swing it? Without a doubt.

I just finished this game. I actually reallynlijed the amount of dialogue. I thought it gave Kay a lot of character. And the world really is beautiful.
As much as I loved the parts about people in Kay’s life, I did end up wanting more focus on Kay directly. You only really get maybe 30 minutes if those 4 hours really focusing on Kay at the end, and because if it, I think those metaphors got really confusing compared to the other parts of the game.
I still really liked it though.
