Relaxed half-underwater level about collecting red coins
Sorry that my first post in years is plugging my own work, I’ll make it up by playing through some of these today
First level I make. Got a couple of headache spots but nothing unsolvable.

Hope you guys like it!
I have played, liked, commented on and followed the creator of every level in this thread! I’ll fall behind at some point but I’m having fun doing this
I love this game so much.
Had a blast with this one! Just a charming pleasant level. Keep 'em coming!
Oh I didn’t know you could follow the creators! I’ll go back and do that. I’ve played and liked a lot of the levels poster here, I’ll try and catch up on the rest today!
I want to make levels, but I’m a little intimidated by the sheer array of options and great levels I’ve played. Any tips on getting started?

I’d say just go for it, the game pretty much teaches itself. I was surprised with how legit my first level played after messing with it for just 30 minutes.
Do a shitty level and you’ll find out it’s not so shitty after all!
Yeah, the little star up at the top of the level screen follows the creator
My suggestion for getting started would be to go into the Dojo in-game (the pigeon icon in the menu) it has some fantastic tutorials to get you started! You don’t need to do them all but I found once I was a few in I started feeling confident enough to start making some stuff. Or as Arenow suggests, just jump in and mess about with it! If you’ve played some Mario you’ll very quickly realise mistakes in your level just by playing them and then you can correct and improve.

Notice : Can be pretty challenging for new players! But give it a try.
Feedback would be appreciated
So, for funsies (and because I just switched from Premiere to Final Cut Pro and wanted something with minor amounts of editing to find my footing with) I decided to make a video of some of the levels from this thread. Just from the start going down the list, no special treatment or anything! If people are interested I might do another video going through more of them. I played the ones listed below.
Also apologies to Facesnake, I keep calling your level “Bowser’s Ice Castle” instead of Cave and I have no idea why. I was literally reading it off the screen…
Ok I made a course! It’s a pretty easy one, lots of hints with coins and such. Just wanted to try out the maker.
• Mario’s Best Friend

• Short and Sweet, Standard
• SMW, Ground
Again, nothing special. Just a fun level and figured this would be a good place to share!
I’ve got two to share today (neither of which is particularly amazing). Full disclosure: I’m using my levels to explore some type of political issue/policy idea. It’s pretty reductive at this point, but I’m also kind of just doing it for the laugh of it, so… yeah! Hopefully someone finds some joy in one of these:
Universal Basic Income
Lawncare 101
Is it intentional that you can swim under most of the level?
This thread has finally convinced me to make an account here, after months of lurking. Hi everyone!
I’ve only made one level so far, although I have an idea for a race level that I just figured out how the mechanics could work.
Swing Kings
It’s basically me playing around with the hooks in a familiar format.
I can’t wait to be active in this thread! Gonna put part of my tuition money for next year towards the game😂
Koopa The Slow

short and sweet, auto level
SMB3 Snow
Easier and probably more fun than the first level I posted here
Looking forward to playing all of these levels!
I just finished up one I’m kinda proud of. I think it’s a bit hard? But more in a puzzle sense than a platforming sense (also very open to feedback because it’s hard to tell how hard it actually is by myself). Basically, I decided to attempt to make a horror-ish Mario level and it actually worked surprisingly well.

As a hint, there are four keys. You can’t get to all of them. You only need one to beat the level.
Noticed that afterwards, decided to label it as “known, shippable”. The game is not letting me change it afterwards and I’d rather just move on from it.
Great idea, but don’t know what to do with the shell at the end.
