Waypoint Community Game of the Year II

The Results

What a season, what a season! A month and two phases later — we’ve reached the end of our GILM Awards road. The mod team would just like to thank y’all for the great discussions and cordial voting sessions, we feel like we had an awesome response and that’s all down to you folks. We hope this was as much fun to contribute to as it was to create.

We’ll be reviewing this for next year, so if you’ve got any feedback, drop us a line and we’ll make sure to bring it up in our review. Ever forward!

Now, as hot take lists make their way around the web, we’ll trust the wisdom of the Waypoint audience to decide what the real games of the year were. We’re going to give you the top five of every category, with a little something extra to celebrate the overall winner. We want to celebrate the games that swept the board and the ones that won where it counted. It was a pleasure to see so many games nominated and we hope 2018 will bring us even more great soil for discussion.

Let’s roll the tape — we hope to see y’all next year.
