I’m really looking forward to playing this. As someone who struggles with anxiety myself, games that channel it in a way where I can examine my experience through a different lens, all while having fun, can be helpful.

I also think this is some the best writing I’ve read on anxiety and games. It’s inspiring, and I’m thinking of returning to my thesis in college on games with a literary bent that explore themes like death or health problems as a therapeutic tool. I disagree with several aspects of the premise that I presented at the time but I think there is a lot to be explored in this area.

Anybody know of other writers who approach this topic?
