Reading Waypoint articles today at work and as I’m reading there is a Vice ad asking me if I “Like Free Shit?”. Later in the article is an even larger banner with the same animated text. Aside from not really wanting ‘Shit’ displayed across my work monitor a (the white letters on a salmon-ish background makes it stand out), having bold animated text (the ad cycles between three different sets of text) between paragraphs of thoughtful prose it is just really distracting as a reader.
This may not be able to be something the Waypoint crew has any control over, but I just wanted to throw out there. Shit is my preferred curse word but not like this. Not like this.
