Wagonwheel Appreciation Thread

#1

U live in North Carolina. You are so excited to meet your friends at the ol’ watering hole.

U arrive, give all your friends hugs. Knock a few back. The night is going great. Lots of fun stories being exchanged. You watch as a man in a polo with a backwards Tar Heels cap approaches the jukebox. U know what comes next.

all of the sudden, you’re heading down south to the land of the pines, thumbin’ your way through North Caroline. You stare up at the road and pray to god you see headlights. You made it down the coast in seventeen hours, and picked yourself a bouquet of dogwood flowers. And you’re a-hopin’ for Raleigh, so you can see your baby tonight.

So rock me momma like a wagon wheel
Rock me momma any way you feel
Hey, momma rock me
Rock me momma like the wind and the rain
Rock me momma like a south bound train
Hey, momma rock me

I can’t find a picture but in my youth these had some sort of cross-promotional tie in with Nintendo and so they had racoon Mario on the box and the two have forever been associated in my mind.

Broke my heart when I found out they weren’t vegetarian :frowning:

Is this an Australian biscuit or do other countries have it too?
