Ok, more in the spirit of this thread, here’s one of my favorite old albums. Endless Fantasy by Anamanaguchi.
That would be an interesting one, at least I know I’ve got some fucking feelings about that thing, can’t imagine I’m alone in that.
For albums less than a month old, how about Perfume Genius’ No Shape maybe?

Romance is Boring was actually 2010, not that it matters 
I believe the plan was to close the polls and start the first album week on monday, so this is a last chance to vote 
This will probably close today and it looks like a high possibility of a tie. I’ve suggested we randomly select from the tied albums if that happens.

Sorry for the very long wait but we are finally ready to start with the first album tomorrow on monday.
The first album will be Goths by Mountain Goats and we will be listening and talking about it from 3/7 - 9/7

are we posting right in here about Goths or is there gonna be a fresh thread for discussion about specifically this album?
My immediate reaction was we should stay in this thread, but there’s probs a fair few people who’ve heard the record anyway/love the Mountain Goats and wanna chat and aren’t necessarily in this topic! So maybe a “Discussing Goths” thread is a good shout!
(Different from the “Discussing goths” lower-case-g thread, for trading New Rock Boots care tips)

I think we were going to start a thread maybe for each month when we go through the 3 picked albums (the new, old, then the random), just so that a single thread doesn’t become too unweildy.

Sorry about all this, basically we all hit some busy times at a cruicial moment so it’s been really difficult for us to properly administer this. We’re still really keen on this idea. Feel free to discuss the album without our input!
