What do you do when you want to cheer yourself up?


I was feeling pretty down in the dumps tonight. I sometimes like to use an exercise bike for a bit of physical activity when I get like this (less often lately due to losing the habit), but it would have disturbed the other tenants to use it this late at night. Instead I watched some clips I like from anime I really enjoy and played a bit of GNOG. I am starting to feel a bit better.

What do you folks do when you want to try and cheer up?


Well I really just exercise as a first measure.

Like I was a bit in my head tonight so I went for a run.

Sometimes if I can’t run or it’s all too much I actually open up a google doc and write down my feelings and try and pinpoint the cause and write up a plan to fix it.

It often gives me hope and then I can actually enjoy tv /sleep / games with the knowledge I’m going to fix it.
