aussie mate. cheers cobber.
Sweet. Just so cool to know there are Waypoint fans in the neighborhood. Oh same relatively fair skin, but mine comes from the Chinese heritage.
I’m really short though, but I chalk that up to bad eating and sleeping habits when I was an ignorant preteen. LOL. You don’t happen to be a Destiny 2 or Overwatch player on PS4, do you? Haha.
i’m hispanic from my mom’s side. my mother is from a small village in the outskirts of Guadalajara, Mexico (who knows if its still there, the whole family moved to the States after an economic crisis and a lucky chance encounter with a labor contractor), my father was apparently of Spanish-Berber descent, which explains my surname (no idea what explains my relatively towering height, probably diet).
@gio I’m from a small town here in Pasig. Not the best city, but it’s passable, lol. When the stars align, we should def meet up sometime. Would love to meet other Filipino folks from this corner of the internet
@youngliar Isa pang Pinoy, haha!
I’m from the Netherlands. Both my parents are Dutch, though my mum’s got French blood.
Sorry, nah. Don’t have the money to pay for PS+ unfortunately.
Definitely! Pag dumami na tayo haha.
@gio oh well! there’s always this forum and the discord to talk about games!
@arlo kung di obvious sa avatar ko, mahiyain ako irl lololol pero sige lang kung mangyari man
Pale. American. I don’t have access to half my biological background, and the other half never interested me enough to remember (though since most of that half is mormon, that half’s genealogy has been done a dozen times over). I even used to do support for Ancestry.com (before the dna tests) so I had access to the records. Just, never felt that interested in it.
I’m Aussie.
Far as I know, most of my ancestors are a mix of British / Irish and came here between 100-200 years ago (not super clear on it though).
1/16th of them came here 50,000 years ago or whatever the latest research says (and that’s if my nan is right about who her grandmother is - not the sort of thing that was openly discussed back then).
Nationality: Mexican and United Statian
Race: A bit of everything. Native South African, East and West European, Native North and South American, and East Asian… thats just my mother’s DNA test.
I was born in Canada and have lived here pretty much all my life, and my heritage is 1/4 Irish, 1/4 Scottish, and 1/2 Ukrainian. My paternal grandfather (who’s Irish) was born in the US, but the rest of my grandparents all came over to Canada from their respective countries. I mainly just associate myself as Canadian, since any cultural customs or dishes I have that could be associated with my ethnic background are really just common/popular things in general where I am.
I was born in France but now I have a New-Zealand/French dual citizenship. Pretty much everyone from my family but one grand-grandfather is from Alsace, a French region on the border with Germany. That grand-grandfather was from Czechoslovakia.
Cool to see the diversity in backgrounds here. Including many Pinoys to boot!
I’m a 2nd generation Filipina-American. So I was born in the US but both my parents are from the Philippines. I’m fractionally Chinese by way of my mom’s family.
I was raised surrounded by Filipino communities and culture in the States, plus I’ve visited the islands a bunch of times… but my Tagalog remains a travesty.
No Slavic representation here yet
. Half Czech Half Polish here.
Welcome fellow Chinoy! Glad to have you and hope to see you around!
I’m from New Zealand, but currently reside in Japan.
My father is from Northern Ireland, so I guess I’m half Irish. The rest of me is just a hodgepodge of whatever European countries my ancestors came from. I’m guessing Scotland.
I’m half Sudanese and half Turkish. My family lives everywhere though - my dad is the youngest of 7 brothers and 6 sisters.
I’m American and absurdly Caucasian. Nasal voice, can’t dance, enjoy shallow pop songs. The whole bit.
I’m Belgian. Belgian parents and grandparents all, wish I knew a full breakdown of my ancestry but uh, I don’t. Pretty boring, I know.
